The Mudpuppies are a 4-piece, central Iowa based band that plays a wide variety of music, focusing mainly on rock/alternative. They also play classic rock, blues, country, and their own brand of "power pop trash". Their music features a powerful rhythm section, intricate guitar work and lots of energy.

The band keeps a busy schedule playing 6 to 10 times a month at a variety of places including clubs, weddings, company parties, benefits, and town celebrations.
