Brad started his musical career at age 11 playing in his dad's band. In high school, Brad played bass in a local band, Resque. In 1987 while in high school, Brad was the state champion Jazz soloist in the Iowa State Jazz Competition. After high school, Brad went to Tarkio, Missouri to study music. Brad continued to play bass in several different bands in Iowa Falls. These bands include: Fly By Night, Rock 'N West, and Scarecrow. In 1993, Brad went to Nebraska and received a degree in Audio Engineering. At the present time, Brad is playing bass with the Mudpuppies with Ken and Mary. In addition, Brad is working on an album with Brad Done in Lincoln, Nebraska. Brad's musical influences are Pink Floyd, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Rush, Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac and his dad, Udell. Brad has enjoyed playing music with Ken for many years and through that has developed a close friendship. In addition, Brad very much enjoys playing in the Mudpuppies with Mary.
